I am a self-taught abstract artist whose creative journey has always been guided by expression and transformation. From a young age, I found my voice through the performing arts - singing, dancing, and theater offered me ways to connect and communicate. Yet, when I later faced depression and social anxiety, stepping onto a stage no longer felt possible. It was then that I turned to painting, discovering a deeply personal and healing outlet that allowed me to create without boundaries.

Working primarily with texture and acrylics, I build layered compositions that carry movement, depth, and emotion. My process is intuitive - guided by nature, organic textures, and the grounding influence of ceramics. Each piece is both a reflection of my inner world and an invitation for viewers to connect with their own emotions, stories, and journeys of healing.

My greatest source of inspiration is nature — its textures, colors, and raw beauty. I’m deeply moved by the earth’s organic forms and the quiet harmony they hold. Each painting I create carries a piece of that natural essence, translating the simplicity and strength of nature into emotion and texture on canvas.

My work is rooted in the belief that art holds a quiet power to restore and transform. Through imperfection, we find resilience. Through color and texture, we rediscover balance. For me, painting is not only an act of creation but also an act of therapy - a way of honoring life’s fragility while celebrating its beauty.

Based in Limassol, Cyprus, I have had the joy of sharing my work in exhibitions and art markets, including Link 68 (2025) and Kolla Cy Art Market (2025). Today, my paintings can be found in private collections.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My practice is rooted in abstract expression, where texture and layering play a central role. The first step in my process is the creation of soft textures, which form the foundation of each piece. These textures guide the composition intuitively, allowing the work to evolve organically through layers of acrylics, natural pigments, and coffee.

Soft textures are essential to my work, as they evoke the raw and authentic surfaces found in nature. Through these elements, I seek to capture the essence of the natural world, the quiet, grounding, and peaceful energy that invites a deeper reconnection with ourselves. The materials interact in unpredictable ways, creating organic forms, stains, and subtle variations that mirror natural processes.

I approach the canvas as a space of exploration rather than a fixed plan. Gestures, marks, and textures accumulate over time, forming layered surfaces that hold traces of each stage of the process. This creates a sense of depth and movement, encouraging the viewer to engage not only with the final image but with the journey of its creation.

I believe that both art and nature hold the power to heal and transform our lives. This belief is the foundation of my practice and my source of inspiration. I create with the intention to offer a sense of calm, healing, and empowerment, inviting the viewer into a space of reflection, presence, and inner connection.
